Since 2006, FuzzBuster Films has produced and directed dozens of promo, interstitials, image branding and branded content spots for networks such as FOX, Comedy Central, Disney Channel, Freeform, Lifetime, ESPN, Style Network, and others. We provide services from creative to finishing, all with one goal: to give 110% to our clients, regardless of how large or small the project.  We pride ourselves on our relationships, loyalty (from both clients and crews) and the ability to take ourselves just seriously enough to do a kick-ass job.

In addition, our fearless leader (okay, he does have one fear – snakes), Jay Lehrfeld, has been summoned by other companies to direct a variety of spots for many of the same networks listed above, as well as FX, the CW Network, Nickelodeon, the former WB Network, ABC Family, G4, and more.  Additionally, he has directed branded spots for Microsoft, On-Star, Old Navy, Xbox, Pillsbury and more.  In the late 00’s, Jay directed (and FuzzBuster produced) 10 commercials for e-tailer Buy.com; we take no responsibility (either positive or negative) for their subsequent sale to a Japanese conglomerate.

Okay, so now what about the name?  Many people think that it has something to do with the radar-detecting gizmo popular in the 70’s and 80’s.  While we won’t comment on whether we have ever tried to outsmart the “law”, FuzzBuster Films actually got it’s name from a fuzzy dog (see pic below) named, yes, Buster.  While we wanted to call ourselves Buster Productions, allegedly the estate of the great Buster Keaton had a lock on that name. An 11th hour phone call from the lawyers in Sacramento handling the incorporation and a particularly ungroomed day for Buster (and the love of alliteration) led to FuzzBuster Films.  So now you know.

Sadly, Buster left us in May 2019, but his spirit and his name will live on.
